A photo-editing program gave me the "shot" that I had hoped for (but never got) when both the old and new Mackinaws were in Menominee on Dec. 7. (This is a compilation of two different photos)
The (old) USCG Mackinaw was in Menominee Dec. 7. It was moored at the Menominee North Pier Lighthouse pier and was open for tours from noon until 5 p.m. today. (Shown here about a half hour before the tours begin)

ALSO - The (new) Mackinaw was open for public tours on Dec. 7 during the same hours at the K & K Warehouse dock in Menominee. Unfortunately, it was not feasible to have both ships in the same location, as they (probably) didn't want to have to come through the Ogden Street Bridge, which closed seasonal, full-time operation a couple weeks ago. It sounds like both ships will depart Menominee on Dec. 8 (when the bridge will have to be opened for the (new) Mackinaw to depart).
