On Monday morning, Aug. 18, the Algorail arrived at Marinette Fuel & Dock with the fourth load of salt (in the past 8 days). The past three loads were brought in by the James Norris, Algorail and Agawa Canyon. On this, the Algorail's second trip here in 8 days, they tied up at the dock around 8 a.m. and finished unloading about 1:30 p.m. The Algorail then backed out past Menominee North Pier Lighthouse shortly after 2 p.m. With approximately 60,000 tons of salt on the dock, this is probably the last salt load for this year.
