Maumee delivers coal to Menominee Paper Co. on June 1

On Sunday, June 1, the Maumee arrived from Sandusky, Ohio with a load of coal for Menominee Paper Co. They arrived around 7:30 A.m. and were docked and ready to unload about 8:15 a.m. Less than 3 hours later (a very fast unloading time) the ship was ready to depart (shortly after 11 a.m.). By 11:45 a.m., they had backed out of the harbor, turned around out in the bay and departed for their next port of call.
