Unloading the Adriaticborg On Aug. 21

I went back to KK Integrated Logistics several times on Sunday. The first time was mid-morning as they were just getting ready to unload the first bundle of wind turbine blades from the ship. I took those photos from near the stern of the ship, as the sun was at my back that way. The second trip was around noontime. This time I climbed the hill on the east end of KK Integrated Logistics to get some "overhead" shots. My final trip was after supper to get some photos from ground level near the bow of the ship, once again to keep the sun at my back.

The blades are bundled two to a bundle, and they are bundled in such a way that the front of the blade is against the hub of the opposite blade in the bundle. The bundles were lowered to waiting trucks, which brought them to one of two separate storage areas on the grounds. The total number of blades in this shipment is 87; and the blades came over from Poland.
