Adriaticborg Finally Arrives At KK Integrated Logistics On Tuesday, Sept. 6

After arriving late Sunday afternoon in high winds, the ship had gone to anchor for the night. On Labor Day morning, they attempted to head into port stern-first with the Selvick tug, Jimmy L, assisting them; but after passing the lighthouse and getting into the inner harbor, it was decided that the fairly strong winds were just from the wrong direction and they headed back out into the bay to anchor for the rest of the day. Finally, they were successful in entering port on Tuesday, once again with the Jimmy L assisting. The tug led the ship effortlessly through the Ogden Street (Menekaunee) Bridge around 7:45 a.m. and they were tied up at the dock around 8 a.m. I was out on Government Pier in Marinette to photograph the sequence, so you can see the ship coming in off the bay stern-first with the tug and also get a good view of the pair heading through the bridge looking "right up the pike." I then went down to KK Integrated Logistics in the early afternoon to photograph some of the unloading processes. I hope you enjoy the photos!
