Ice Shoves On The Bay Of Green Bay In March:
Ice shoves began to pile up late last December when a two-day nor'easter hit Menominee & Marinette (see photos above). On March 23, a large snowstorm hit the area accompanied by winds gusting over 40 mph. Another line of ice shoves formed in the bay. Although the bay remains mostly ice-covered, there is no sign of a Spring break-up just yet. Click here to go to the photos of the ice shoves on the "General Photo Gallery" page of this site.
