Sturgeon Bay Lay-Ups (Trip #4)

19 Photos of ships in Winter Lay-Up at Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay, WI from another trip over there on March 27, 2009. Yesterday, the oldest ship still operating on the Great Lakes, the St. Mary's Challenger (built 1906), arrived at Bay Shipbuilding under tow from one of the oldest working tugs on the Great Lakes, John M. Selvick (built 1898). I wish I had been there to see those historic vessels working together. Also, the American Century is now fully re-painted, and has been removed from the graving dock and tied up alongside the dock.
